Ten years after their last original release, Lothlöryen — an unavoidable name in the history of Brazilian Power/Folk Metal — resurfaces in full force with “…of Bards and Madmen [reimagined]”, an album that revisits, reconstructs, and reimagines their iconic 2005 debut. The record will hit digital platforms on September 12th, 2025, celebrating two decades since the band’s foundation and inaugurating a new creative cycle.

 

Far more than a mere re-recording, “…of Bards and Madmen [reimagined]” is a work of artistic maturity: arrangements have been restructured, lyrics rethought, and the sound production reaches a new technical and aesthetic level, reflecting the years of touring, international stages, and musical evolution accumulated since the original version. The result is a conceptual piece that honors the past while sounding fresh and visionary.

The first single, “Moriality”, debuted alongside a graphic novel that invites listeners to immerse themselves in the album’s conceptual universe. Following this, “There and Back Again”, the second single, dives into the Renaissance-inspired concept of revisiting the past as a source of inspiration to create a new present. Coverage in specialized Brazilian media has highlighted the symbolic weight of the band’s return.
